Is there special wire for bonsai?

Yes, Bonsai artist's use either Aluminium wire that is anodized ( normally brown or black ) or copper wire. Aluminium wire is affordable and easy to apply. Copper wire is more expensive but is stronger and harder to apply.

What size bonsai wire do i need?

A general rule of thumb is to use a piece of wire that is 1/3 the thickness of the branch or trunk you are wiring. This isn't going to be accurate for all trees but it will get you close. We suggest having at least 1 roll of each size wire so you will always have the correct size for any job on hand.

How do you cut bonsai wire?
